2019-20 (Freshman): Skated in 25 games for the Wildcats ... Made his collegiate debut in the home-opener against Michigan State ... Posted his first career point with an assist at Alabama-Huntsville (Nov. 29) ... Also earned an assist at Alaska, January 25 ... Blocked 29 shots.
Before NMU: Most recently competed for Fargo Force of the USHL. Prior to that, spent two years with the Bismarck Bobcats (NAHL). Was named most improved player with his juniors team.
Personal: Competed for Blaine High School where he was named to the all-conference team as both a junior and senior. Named team's Defensive MVP as a junior and senior. Served as team captain as a senior. 2016 Reed Larson Award finalist. Also played tennis for Blaine High School where he waas named captain as a senior, to the all-conference team, team MVP and received coach's award. Son of Tony and Trish Vescio. Has one brother, Frank. Originally from Blaine, Minnesota. Plans to major in business.
