The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its Players of the Week for December 19-19 and four student-athletes from two different programs have been recognized. Stiven Sardarian was named the Forward of the Week, while Easton Young (Augustana) garnered Defenseman of the Week honors. Owen Bartoszkiewicz (Michigan Tech) picked up his fourth Goaltender of the Week award and Leo Bulgakov claimed Rookie of the Week.

CCHA Forward of the Week: Stiven Sardarian, Sr., Michigan Tech (Saint Petersburg, Russia)
Sardarian was named to the Great Lakes Invitational All-Tournament Team aftering posting three points on one goal and two assists. Even for the tournament, he had two shots on goal and one block defensively. On Sunday, he scored a goal and dished out a pair of assists, helping the Huskies top Miami (OH), 5-2.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Easton Young, So., Augustana (Grand Rapids, Minn.)
Young led all CCHA skaters with four assists against Omaha, helping the Vikings to a split on Dec. 19-20. On Friday, he had three helpers in a 7-4 victory over the Mavericks. He then assisted on Augustana's only tally in a 4-1 loss.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Owen Bartoszkiewicz, Jr., Michigan Tech (Northville, Mich.)
Bartoszkiewicz led all conference netminders with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage, going 1-1-0 in the Great Lakes Invitational. On Sunday, he stopped 26-of-28 shots in a 5-2 victory over Miami (OH). He then had 27 saves in a 4-1 loss to No. 3 Michigan State in the championship game.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Leo Bulgakov, Fr., Augustana (Minsk, Belarus)
Bulgakov notched a league-high three goals against Omaha on Dec. 19-20, helping Augustana to a home weekend split. He scored twice, including one power-play tally, in a 7-4 win on Friday. He then scored the team's only goal in a 4-1 defeat on Saturday.
