The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced the All-Rookie Team, All-CCHA Second Team and All-CCHA First Team and 18 student-athletes from all nine programs have been recognized.

CCHA All-Rookie Team: Jakub Altrichter, Northern Michigan (Prague, Czechia)
Altrichter played in all 26 CCHA contests for the Wildcats, scoring three goals with 14 assists for 17 points. He was a -4 with 69 shots on goal and 17 blocks defensively. In the face-off circle, he won 52.9% of his draws. Overall, he has three goals and 16 assists for 19 points.
CCHA All-Rookie Team: Elias Jansson, Michigan Tech (Oulu, Finland)
Jansson paced CCHA rookies with 20 points in conference play, scoring 10 goals with 10 assists. Totaling 61 shots, he was a +1 with five power-play goals, one game-winner and one hat trick. He also had two blocks defensively. Overall, he has 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points.
CCHA All-Rookie Team: Logan Morrell, Michigan Tech (Mesa, Ariz.)
Morrell appeared in all 26 conference for the Huskies, scoring nine goals with seven assists for 16 points. Post a +3 rating, he recorded 58 shots with 15 blocks defensively. He also won 60.5% of his face-offs and had four multi-point games, including scoring two goals with one assist in a 9-5 victory over Bemidji State on December 14.
CCHA All-Rookie Team: Rylan Brown, Michigan Tech (Sherwood Park, Alb.)
Brown played in all 26 CCHA games for Michigan Tech, notching three goals and 14 assists for 17 points from the blue line. He was even for the season, with 42 shots on goal and 22 blocks defensively. Recording four multi-point games, he had a season-high three assists in a 6-5 overtime loss to Bemidji State on February 8.
CCHA All-Rookie Team: Isa Parekh, Bemidji State (Nobleton, Ont.)
Parekh appeared in 25 of 26 conference games for the Beavers this season, scoring two goals with 14 assists for 16 points. Posting a +1 rating, he had 26 shots on goal with 12 blocks. He had three games with multiple assists and had a season-long five-game point streak from January 26 to February 22.
CCHA All-Rookie Team: Rorke Applebee, Lake Superior State (Chateauguay, Que.)
Applebee made 22 appearances in conference play for Lake Superior State, posting an 8-14-0 record, with a 2.81 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. He recorded a 34-save shutout in his first CCHA game on October 8 at Northern Michigan.
All-CCHA Second Team: Luke Mobley, Sr., Augustana (St. Louis Park, Minn.)
Mobley registered 13 goals and seven assists for 20 points. He recorded five power-play goals and one shorthanded tally. The St. Louis Park, Minnesota native joined the Vikings in their inaugural season and has garnered a total of 39 points in the navy and gold.
All-CCHA Second Team: Ryan O'Hara, Sr., Bowling Green (Oakville, Ont.)
O'Hara is currently leading all Bowling Green skaters in points and assists with 33 points and 22 assists. The senior forward is currently tied for his highest season tally in goals and has his most assists and points in a season. He has five game-winning goals including his most recent one against Lake Superior State to close out the regular season and clinch home ice for the Mason Cup Quarterfinals. O'Hara is currently fifth in the CCHA in points and in assists per game at .63 per game. Nationally, the senior captain is ranked 10th in the nation in game-winning goals.
All-CCHA Second Team: Brody Waters, So., Bowling Green (Heidelberg, Ont.)
Waters is currently leading the team in goals with 16 and is tied for second on the team in points with 22. The sophomore is currently tied for the NCAA lead and leads the CCHA in power-play goals with 10. He is fourth in the CCHA in goals and in goals per game with .46 goals/game. He is one of seven players in the CCHA to have recorded at least one hat-trick this season so far.
All-CCHA Second Team: Chase Foley, Gr., St. Thomas (Mendota Heights, Minn.)
Foley had career-bests in nearly every statistical category this season, setting single season program records during the regular season in assists by a defenseman (17) and points by a defenseman (20). He also quarterbacked the best power play in program history and the best in the CCHA this season (26.5%). Foley finished top three in all offensive categories among conference defensemen. The grad transfer was named November Defenseman of the month earlier in the season. This is Foley's first all-conference honor and the Tommies first all-conference honor for a defenseman.
All-CCHA Second Team: Travis Shoudy, Jr., Ferris State (Marysville, Mich.)
Shoudy suited up in all 26 CCHA contests for the Bulldogs in 2024-25, producing five goals and 12 assists for 17 points, with a +7 rating. Netting one game-winning goal, he notched 65 shots and 32 blocks, helping Ferris State to 11 regulation victories during conference play. He was a +1 with a season-high four blocks in the Bulldogs' 2-0 shutout of eventual MacNaughton Cup Champion Minnesota State on January 24. For the season, he has played in all 34 contests, picking up six goals and 12 assists for 18 points.
All-CCHA Second Team: Josh Kotai, So., Augustana (Abbotsford, Alb.)
Kotai played in 15 CCHA games this season, posting a 9-4-1 record with a 2.05 goals-against average and a .931 save percentage, with one shutout. He racked up 391 total saves in 847:46 minutes, including nine games of 25 or more stops and four with 30 or more. Overall, he went 17-10-3 with a 1.92 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage, recording two shutouts. A two-time CCHA Goaltender of the Month he earned national recognition in October and is a Mike Richter Award Semifinalist.
All-CCHA First Team: Liam Malmquist, Sr., St. Thomas (Edina, Minn.)
Malmquist notched 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points in 26 CCHA games this season, posting a +7 rating. He scored five power-play tallies, with a league-best two shorthanded goals, one game-winner and one hat trick. Amassing 87 shots on goal, he three blocks defensively. Overall, he has 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points, becoming the first Tommies player in the DI era to eclipse 40 points in a season. The CCHA Player of the Month in January, he is a three-time Player of the Week.
All-CCHA First Team: Rhett Pitlick, Sr., Minnesota State (Plymouth, Minn.)
Pitlick produced a CCHA-best 30 points on 10 goals and 20 assists in 26 league contests, posting a +22 rating, with 68 shots and 12 blocks defensively. He collected two power-play markers and two game-winners in conference play. Overall, he has 13 goals and 24 assists for 37 points, including five game-winning goals, which rank 10th nationally. He earned CCHA Forward of the Month honors in October.
All-CCHA First Team: Lucas Wahlin, Sr., St. Thomas (Woodbury, Minn.)
Wahlin netted 14 goals with 15 assists for 29 points in 26 CCHA games this season, while posting a +7 rating. He totaled three power-play goals, one shorthanded marker and four game-winners, which was second in the league. Putting 99 shots on net, he blocked 24 defensively and won 47.4% of his draws. Overall, he has recorded 17 goals and 22 assists for 39 points, earning CCHA Forward of the Month in February.
All-CCHA First Team: Evan Murr, So., Minnesota State (Stillwater, Minn.)
Murr paced CCHA blueliners with 22 points in 26 CCHA games, scoring five goals with 17 assists. Amassing a +11 rating, he recorded 53 shots and 23 blocks defensive, with four power play tallies and one game-winner. He notched six multi-point games in conference play was assessed only three minor penalties. Overall, he has six goals and 19 assists for 25 points.
All-CCHA First Team: Chase Pietila, So., Michigan Tech (Howell, Mich.)
Also a finalist for Defensive Defenseman of the Year, Pietila anchored the Michigan Tech blueline in all 26 CCHA games this season, collecting five goals and eight assists for 13 points. Producing an even rating throughout the conference schedule, he recorded 55 shots on goal and blocked 25 in his own end, with two power-play tallies. He had an assist and was a +3 in the Huskies' 9-5 win at Bemidji State on December 14, before blocking a season-best six shots against Lake Superior State on January 10. Overall, he had seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points this season.
All-CCHA First Team: Alex Tracy, So., Minnesota State (Chicago, Ill.)
Tracy played in 25 of Minnesota State’s 26 conference games, going 17-5-3 with a 1.43 goals-against average and a .947 save percentage, which all led the league. He turned away 640 shots in 1514:48 minutes, picking up two shutouts. Overall, he is 24-8-3 with a 1.45 goals-against average and a .944 save percentage, with four shutouts. A two-time CCHA and national Goaltender of the Month, he currently leads the nation in wins, GAA, SV% and is a Semifinalist for the Mike Richter Award.
Voting for the 2024-25 All-CCHA Teams and year-end awards was conducted by the nine head coaches at each CCHA member institution, based on CCHA conference games only. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.
The league's year-end award announcements continue on Wednesday with the Defensive Defenseman of the Year (11am ET), Defensive Forward of the Year (12pm ET) and Rookie of the Year (1pm ET).
